Marty Delgadillo has over 30 years of experience in law enforcement. He served for more than 20 years as a firearms instructor at several local Police Academies such as Rio Hondo, L.A.S.O., L.A.P.D., Golden West, O.C.S.O., and is certified by the FBI Firearms Academy in Virginia. Marty is a NRA police firearms instructor for the handgun, shotgun and home safety certifications.
His extensive background includes California Police Instructor certification by P.O.S.T., Bureau of Security and Investigative services, and Consumer Affairs Department-State of California. With over fifteen years of ballistic experience, Marty has a B.A. in Administration & Justice from CSULB.
During his twenty year tenure in his law enforcement career with three Southern California police agencies, Marty has obtained four Governor’s Top Twenty Police marksmanship awards, two national top fifty Police marksmen awards, a Presidential Medallion, and Semi-Automatic and Revolver National Distinguished Badges.
As a member of the 1490 Police combat reception, he received numerous medallions and several dozen Gold, Silver and Bronze Police Combat awards. While participating in the World Police Olympics, Marty won numerous awards, medals and citations.
As consummate leader in police work and security training, Marty has certified over 12,500 security and police officers at Firearms Academy.
